6th class have had a busy and exciting year so far. At the beginning of the school year we visited Leinster House and the Natural History Museum. We received a great tour of Leinster House and met our local T.D. Stephen Donnelly.

One of the most exciting parts of our school year was the Christmas play ‘Stable Manners’. The entire class worked tirelessly to put on an excellent performance for our school, Newcourt School and our families. The class had a great time perfecting their acting, singing and dancing skills and did themselves very proud on the night with an amazing performance.

During Seachtain na Gaeilge, 6th class had a lot of fun preparing scéalta Gaeilge for Junior Infants, Senior Infants and 1st class. As well as that 6th class also partook in a quiz with rang a cúig.

During the month of February the class completed independent projects on an Asian country of their choice. The projects were very informative and creative and the students put a huge amount of effort into each project.

Below are some examples of the excellent work completed by 6th class during the year.
