We cannot believe that 2021 has come to an end and we have already reached the end of our first full term in 3rd class. December was an exciting month in Saint Andrew’s N.S. as the school prepared for Christmas. Our Christmas celebrations kicked off with the Toy Show where we all got to wear our Christmas jumpers. In 3rd class we also predicted what Ryan’s jumper might look like and we each designed and decorated our very own Christmas jumper. Despite the restrictions that made our Christmas celebrations look a little bit different this year, we still managed to have lots of socially distanced Christmas activities and fun. Santa visited the school in a fire truck, we did lots of Christmas art, we sang Christmas carols outside together and in 3rd class we even filmed our very own version of the poem ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore’ to share with all of our families. We really enjoyed the countdown to Christmas and made sure to light our Advent wreath each day, to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. We are thankful for such a great first term in 3rd class and we are looking forward to the fun and exciting times that 2022 will bring.
