Parent Teacher
Association
All parents, teacher and staff of the school belong to the Parents Teachers Association. In September of each year the PTA AGM is held and at this meeting a committee of representatives is elected. This consists of parent volunteers from Junior Infants through to 6th Class. The PTA is actively involved in many school activities and raises funds for the school. Some of the annual events run by the PTA with help from parents are:

The PTA also organises 3 annual bag2school collections and other fundraising initiatives such as cake sales and school tea towel / calendars. There are also events throughout the year which raise money for chosen charities such as Daffodil day for Irish Cancer Society, Odd sock day for Down Syndrome Ireland and a coffee morning in aid of the Hospice Foundation.
