2nd class share their thoughts on Greenan Maze

"We went to Greenan maze on our school tour. The first maze was actually really hard. We tried to get to a white tent in the middle. Then, we kicked a football at cardboard sheep (not real ones!) After, we had lunch. We went to see the animals there was pigs, sheep (real ones) donkeys, hens, horses, a peacock , turkey and worms. They had a nature walk and a really nice toilet. After we went into a museum. It had an upstairs with lots of saws and old machines. There were cool trailers and a machine that took water out of clothes. Everything was rusty and old but cool, really cool! One machine had four eggs (it keeps them nice and toasty). Then it was finally time to go (sad). On the bus back I had a sleep and when I woke up school was over". Hamish

"We went to Greenan Maze. I went into the middle of the maze 3 times. Then, we went to another maze, we had to close our eyes and our partner told us where to go. Then, we played this game where there are sheep with points, and we had to hit them with a ball. Then, we went to a museum. Then we went on a nature walk. Then, we went to a playground. Our instructors name was Kai. Then we fed pigs, horses and donkeys and then we went home". Dillon

"I went on my school tour. My bus partners were Lucy D and Lucy F. It took 55 minutes to get there. My mum helped out on the bus and I slept. My favourite animals were the ponies and horses. I fed them and petted them. The instructors name was Kai. We also went to a museum. We were not allowed to touch anything because it was very old. We went on a nature walk. I saw an otter, and I think I saw a frog. We played at the playground, I played on the swing set".  Lucy Grogan
